Job Shift: 1st Shift (6:30a CST - 3:00p CST)Job Purpose:
- The Operations Team Member at FLINN SCIENTIFIC INC is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations within the company. This role is essential for ensuring that operational processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success and productivity of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination and execution of operational tasks and projects.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures to maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory management to ensure adequate supply.
- Support the implementation of new processes and technologies to enhance operational capabilities.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to operational activities.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement discussions.
- Assist in training and onboarding new team members to ensure seamless integration into the team.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- An associate degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
Required

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operations or logistics role.
- Experience working in a scientific or educational supply company is a plus.
- Proven track record of working effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with team members and clients.
- Proficiency in using inventory management and operations software.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance in a scientific supply context is advantageous.
