As an Operations Team Member, you play a critical role in ensuring our camp runs safely, smoothly, and efficiently creating the foundation that allows campers and staff to thrive.

HOW you’ll create Moments that Matter:

You will ensure camp facilities, equipment, and infrastructure are safe, clean, and fully operational. From performing routine maintenance and repairs to supporting transportation needs, including boat operations and trips to Kenora. You will help keep camp logistics running seamlessly. You will respond to both routine and urgent operational needs, support camp-wide programming and transitions, and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for campers, staff, and guests.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in camp operations, maintenance, or a similar hands-on role
  • Confidence operating motorboats and supporting transportation logistics
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond calmly in emergency situations
  • Knowledge of basic maintenance, repair, and safety procedures
  • Adaptability, teamwork, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic outdoor environment
  • Willingness to complete the Y Winnipeg Camp Stephens Training Pathway (paid training available if required)
  • Required Certifications : Bronze Cross (Bronze Medallion prerequisite assumed), Intermediate First Aid with CPR-C, Valid Class 5 driver’s license and a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract, Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC)
