Our opportunity

We are looking for our new Operations Team Lead - MAF to join our team.

This person will be responsible for leading and overseeing the Air Product Operations team to ensure consistent, efficient, and high-quality execution of air freight services. The role is responsible for people leadership, operational performance, customer service quality, and process adherence, acting as the key link between Product, Operations, and Customer Service to deliver a reliable and customer-centric air freight operation.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and supervise the Air Product Operations team, ensuring clear roles, accountability, and performance standards.
• Ensure end-to-end operational execution of air freight shipments in line with product guidelines, SOPs, and customer requirements.
• Monitor daily operational performance, milestones, and service levels to ensure on-time and accurate execution.
• Act as escalation point for complex operational and customer service issues, driving timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including customs, security, and air cargo requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Commercial, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on execution priorities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, quality, and standardization across operations.
• Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members
• Monitor and manage KPIs related to operational quality, customer satisfaction, and productivity.
• Ensure consistent communication with internal stakeholders and regional counterparts to enable smooth cross-office execution.

We are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional experience in a global freight forwarder is highly desirable.
• Advanced English proficiency, enabling effective communication with regional and global stakeholders.
• 5+ years of experience in air freight operations or freight forwarding.
• Proven experience in team leadership or supervisory roles within operations or customer service.
• Strong understanding of air freight processes, regulations, and execution models.
• Experience working in a matrix organization with cross-functional stakeholders.
