Key Responsibilities
Leadplant operations, including startup, shutdown, and process adjustments.
Monitor andmaintaintreatment systems, pumps, chemical feeders, and control equipment.
Collect and analyze water samples, perform laboratory tests, and record results according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) andin accordance withstandard laboratory practices
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with engineering on plant improvements and statewide operationalexcellenceinitiatives.
Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and coach staff.
Overseepurchasing, inventory, and budget tracking.
Prepare compliance reports andmaintainlaboratory accreditation.
Act asprimarypoint of contact for plant operations andplantemergency response.
All work to be performedin accordance withcompany safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned
MinimumRequirements
High school diploma or GED.
Valid PA driver’s license.
Ability to pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
PA DEP Class B Water Treatment License withrequiredsubclasses.
Maintain laboratory accreditation status.
Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of surface water treatment processes.
Ability to use SCADA and other operational software.
Able to lift 75lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
College coursework in chemistry, biology, or environmental science.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Schedule
Monday–Friday, mayinclude other shifts as needed.
