Job Description

The Task Lead serves as Area Lead for operational teams ensuring team positions are fully staffed with trained and qualified specialists; creates and manages crew schedules that will include non-standard work shifts often involving nights and weekends; communicates and evaluates position requirements ensuring crew members meet and maintain position proficiency; maintains team morale in a dynamic, high-pressure, high customer-visibility operational environment; ensures quality control of all products; and works directly with customer counterparts and executives.

In addition to proven leadership skills, this Task Lead must also possess a high level of mission focus and has demonstrated being reliable, productive, fair, level minded, and can take and give constructive feedback. This person must be able to recognize and reward others efforts and provide recommendations to leadership should administrative actions need to be taken.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise team that is responsible for various customer requirements
  • Manage schedule changes, manning requirements, and corporate and customer training
  • Assign daily and weekly goals meeting customer objectives and manage corporate tasks
  • Evaluate and recommend performance management to the team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must currently posses an active TS/SCI Clearance with Poly in order to be considered; candidates who do not currently possess this level of clearance will not be considered
  • Bachelor's degree (additional relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree) with 12+ years DoD, IC or customer related experience
  • Must have 1+ year direct program experience
  • Experience leading teams that are focused on achieving timely accurate results

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of managing teams, shift schedules and no-notice change requests. Experience on the team can be substituted for direct management experience.
  • Crew Resource Management training

Pay Range:

Pay Range $116,350.00 - $210,325.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
