Wachter is currently seeking an experienced Operations Support Specialist to manage auto accident claims in our Lenexa, KS office. The ideal candidate is an experienced Operations Support Specialist with 1-2 years of hands-on experience with an insurance background. This position will focus on fleet safety, risk management, data verification, and follow-up with the fleet Manager. This position is in the office Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; relative work experience preferred. 
  • Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office. 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 
  • Excellent customer relationship and communication skills; verbal and written. 
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Construction industry experience preferred, but not required.
  • Willing to learn new systems. 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of fleet vehicles, registrations, and auto insurance. 
  • Manage and reconcile fuel, toll, maintenance, and telematics accounts. 
  • Support drivers with questions or issues related to fleet and auto accidents. 
  • Monitor fleet software systems to ensure up-to-date data and reporting accuracy. 
  • Assist with auto insurance claims and incident reports.
  • Proactively review, verify, and secure telematics dash cam footage to confirm the accuracy of driver reports and insurance claims.
