JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Operations Support Specialist is a lead position and an integral part of the patient experience. The Operations Support Specialist is a key contributor to delivering high quality customer service to our patients and visitors. Acts as a lead by assisting the practice supervisor in coordinating work activities, resolving problems, training, orientation and performance evaluations of clerical support staff. Makes suggestions for process improvements in support of achieving the established Medical Group performance expectations. Incumbent provides leadership in the absence of the practice supervisor.
An Associate’s Degree in Business or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
Two to three years experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
