Greenergy is a national UK fuel supplier and a leading European manufacturer of waste-based renewables. To deliver fuel to our customers, we have a 24/7 in-house haulage operation made up of over 650 drivers and a fleet of over 250 tankers. Greenergy Flexigrid manages over 500 deliveries per day and operates out of over 20 depots nationwide, making over 182,000 deliveries to 3,100 customers each year.

We're looking for a motivated and organised Operations Support Coordinator to join our team in Tamworth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career, or build on existing administrative or customer service experience, who enjoys working with detail, multitasking and solving problems in a fast-paced environment.

Working on a 4 on 4 off day shift pattern (10am–10pm), you'll play an important role in supporting the smooth running of our fleet operation. You'll help keep systems up to date, coordinate compliance and maintenance activities, manage operational records and work closely with colleagues to ensure issues are resolved quickly and accurately. Full training will be provided, so we're looking for someone with strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, a proactive approach and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor fleet compliance activities and help ensure vehicles meet operational and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate defect management, following up with drivers, workshops and operational teams to ensure issues are resolved promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records across operational systems and ensure information is kept up to date.
  • Manage purchase orders and support the tracking of fleet-related activities.
  • Monitor Vehicle Off Road (VOR) activity and update systems to reflect vehicle availability.
  • Manage the Fleet inbox, responding to or escalating queries where appropriate.
  • Support audit preparation by ensuring documentation and operational records are accurate and complete.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the business to identify risks, resolve issues and help keep fleet operations running smoothly.
