The Role

As an Operations Support team member, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the business, ensuring processes are completed efficiently, accurately and within agreed service levels.

You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to provide high-quality operational and administrative support, helping to maintain smooth workflows and ensuring our teams have the information and support they need to deliver an excellent service to our clients and partners.

📍Location: Stockport, hybrid working available (minimum 2 days per week in office) after an initial training period of approx. 6-8 weeks

🕐 Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

Duties will include the following:

  • Providing accurate and timely operational and administrative support to teams across the business.
  • Recording, updating and maintaining information across internal systems and ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
  • Processing information received by email, post or through internal systems in line with agreed processes.
  • Monitoring workflows, queues and tasks to ensure work is completed within agreed service levels and team targets.
  • Liaising with internal teams and colleagues to obtain information, resolve queries and support the smooth progression of work.
  • Responding to internal and external queries in a timely, professional and helpful manner.
  • Managing shared inboxes and allocating or responding to requests as appropriate.
  • Supporting the completion of operational processes and ensuring relevant documentation and records are maintained.
  • Identifying issues, delays or potential risks and escalating these to the appropriate colleague or manager.
  • Using internal systems and online platforms to input, retrieve and update information.
  • Supporting the implementation and maintenance of company processes, procedures and controls.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with ONP policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and the customer experience.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business and providing support where required during periods of increased demand.
  • Completing ad-hoc administrative and operational duties as required.
  • Any other duties as required by the business.

  • Is adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Demonstrates a desire for continuous improvement and looks for ways to make processes more efficient.
  • Is a positive team player who is willing to support colleagues and contribute to a collaborative working environment.
  • Previous experience in an administrative, legal or professional services environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
