Job Summary
The Operations Supervisor oversees daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of online retail processes, including order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Order Fulfillment: Oversee order processing, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
2. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and optimize storage space.
3. Shipping and Logistics: Coordinate with carriers, manage shipping schedules, and resolve delivery issues.
4. Customer Service: Supervise customer service representatives, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues.
5. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
6. Team Management: Supervise operations staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
7. Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high-quality standards for order fulfillment and customer service.
8. Metrics and Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing data to inform operational decisions.
9. Compliance and Risk: Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
10. Technology and Systems: Utilize operational software, such as inventory management systems and order management systems.
