ROLE
Manages operations department including day-to-day supervision of operations services.
Shift will be Monday - Friday, 3:30PM-12:00AM.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR (MATERIALS RECOVERY FACILITY/TRANSFER STATION)
QUALIFICATIONS
The qualifications listed are typical of the knowledge, skills, and abilities of successful employees within this classification
Three years in the waste industry/recycling programs; transportation, production and logistics operations; and one year of supervisory experience.
Technical and professional principles, practices, laws, applications and programs in position related area including state and federal safety regulations, general occupational safety and commercial vehicle safety management principles, state and federal workers’ compensation laws and administrative procedures.
Thorough knowledge of DOT regulations and truck computer systems.
Current developments and trends in areas of expertise.
Computer programs, including Microsoft Office suite of applications and using data to inform and set priorities and identify challenges/opportunities.
Principles of personnel training, supervision and evaluation.
Supervisory techniques, resource allocation, planning and budgeting.
High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Class "B" Commercial Drivers' License preferred.
