Qube Bulk now have vacancies for an Operations Supervisor to join the team at our HVO operation.

Reporting to the Project Manager, this position will oversee the effective delivery of haulage operations under our haulage contract, ensuring that work by Qube complies with all clients, regulatory and company responsibilities, including and most importantly safety.

Specific Responsibilities

• Leadership and supervision of a team of operators
• Supervise staff, ensuring staff have skills required to undertake tasks as designated
• Undertake regular on the job observations and coaching, and advice to employees to assist in their safety development
• Ensure QUBE Procedures and Policies, and those related to Client Operations are understood and adhered to
• Ensure vehicle and driver compliance of all relevant HSE, Client, NHVR and Qube policies and procedures
• Organizing and scheduling the operators to meet daily haulage requirements and targets
• Management of production and mechanical break-down issues
• Provide comprehensive reporting to the management team on haulage achievements, challenges and issues
• Providing effective guidance, coaching, and mentoring to site personnel
• Maintaining and fostering a working environment which prompts safety in all that we do, whilst also providing outstanding service
• Development of working relationships with key stakeholders on site
• Ability to work under pressure to achieve set targets and standards

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 3-5 years within the Mining and/or heavy transport industry in a similar role
• Must have experience in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel & Microsoft PowerPoint
• Previous experience working in haulage and working towards production targets
• Previous experience successfully managing and leading a team
• Good knowledge and experience of best practice in mining and transport operations
• Mining Supervisor S123 & G2 Risk Facilitator Qualifications
• MC Licence, Operate multi-combination vehicle
