What's the role?

Qube Bulk has a position vacant for an Operations Supervisor to join the Qube Bulk team in Geraldton, WA. This position is responsible for ensuring that work by Qube complies with all clients, regulatory and company responsibilities, including safety, by leading a team with effective delivery of product supply and haulage services to our client.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer productive training, development & guidance to work crews.
• Assist with completion of driver inductions and that they are conducted effectively. Permits and licenses are valid and maintained, total adherence to site and road regulations.
• Ensure that team member’s accountabilities and responsibilities are understood, and employees are delivering to expectation.

Qualification & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Broad knowledge of the Mining Logistics, trucking, bulk haulage and/or ports sector with an in-depth knowledge of mobile fleets and associated equipment.
• S26 Required.
• Experience in leading and developing employees, ideally gained in a ports, logistics or heavy industry environments.
• Supervisory experience in logistics/transport/mining services industry.
• Prior Exposure to safety culture.
• Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of people.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment.
