  • Ensure Quality and Compliance: Travel to work sites to oversee work quality, solve technical problems, and ensure compliance with standards and service level agreements.
  • Champion Safety: Promote a safe work environment, enforce safety procedures, and participate in incident investigations.
  • Manage Budgets and Assets: Oversee costs related to staff, facilities, vehicles, tools, and equipment. Approve invoices and contracts, and report on variances.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Build effective relationships with internal teams, customers, contractors, municipal agencies, and emergency personnel.

What it takes:

  • Certified member in the Applied Science Technologists & Technicians of BC (ASTTBC) or equivalent professional designation.
  • 4 years of field experience in a leadership role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Familiarity with safety management and Site Safe Work Planning.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and enterprise systems.
  • Understanding of HR policies, labour relations, and collective agreements.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and respond under pressure.
  • Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
  • Conflict resolution and emergency coordination capabilities.
