Operations Supervisor – Enid, OK

This is a full-time, salary exempt position.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a high potential individual to be part of the management team at our Enid, OK grain facilities. This position reports to the Superintendent and would assist with safely running the day to day Grain Operations that consists of four Grain Elevators.

Job responsibilities:

  • Assist the Operations Management Staff with the day to day activities of the Elevator. This includes loading/unloading, sampling, grading, transferring, blending and storage of grain products.
  • Assist in scheduling of operations for the hourly staff
  • Communicate operational procedures to hourly workforce
  • Implement and enforce company programs, policies and procedures
  • Ensure all colleagues are conducting operations safely and efficiently throughout each shift
  • Contribute to the development of goals\operational procedures for the department and plant
  • Perform daily facility walkthroughs and supervise hourly work staff on the daily progress
  • Perform daily/weekly/monthly inspections and document results on computer based programs
  • Train colleagues to become proficient at jobs and tasks at the facility, sign off on performance qualifications
  • Coordinate with Superintendent to develop a safe and efficient daily work plan for hourly staff on a shift basis.
  • Preform safety trainings, speaking in front of groups, able to operate multiple computer programs, and enter/upload data into programs.

Job Qualifications:

To be considered for an opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 yr experience developing a team
  • Dedication to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero-injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures.
  • Exhibit regular and prompt attendance.
  • Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, shovel material and operate a vacuum.
  • Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
  • Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed.
  • Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and supportive attitude.
  • General computer knowledge (familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word & web-based skills)
  • Excellent oral/communication skills
  • Leadership characteristics, able to motivate others and demonstrate team building skills.
  • Dedicated involvement in safety
  • Strong organization and documentation skills
  • Partner with Superintendent concerning the execution of work schedules
  • Maintain documentation and identify cost saving ideas.
  • Ability to lift and transport materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 100 pound team lift on an occasional basis.
  • Pass a medical clearance to wear respiratory device
  • Requires a full range of physical motion in order to operate manual and electrically-powered tools and electrical test equipment. Ability to move throughout the facility, including climbing stairs, ladders in all buildings, and to work at heights.
  • Work is performed indoors and out-of-doors year round, occasionally in environments that are dusty, noisy, or which could have work hazards.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$58,100.00 - $108,000.00
