Operations Supervisor, Afternoon Shift

About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Supervisor to join the team at Lineage. As the afternoon shift Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facility in Mosgiel, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of our services to our valued clients.

This is a full-time position leading a team of up to 12-15 team members. The afternoon shift begins at 3:30 pm in our peak season (September to May) and 1:30 pm in the winter period.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and coordinating the work of a team of warehouse operatives to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard and within set timelines

• Monitoring and optimising warehouse workflows and processes to drive productivity and operational excellence

• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

• Providing regular reporting and performance updates to senior management

• Fostering a positive, co-operative and safety-focused work culture

• Assisting with the training and development of warehouse staff

What we're looking for

• Experience (3+ years) in a warehouse or logistics operations supervisory role

• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control processes

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address operational challenges

• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a logistics environment

• A collaborative and adaptable relationship builder with a focus on continuous improvement.
