Team Lead/Supervisor - Operations & Technical Services

Location: Roosendaal, Netherlands

Sector: Industrial Services / Fluid Management

Package €80,000 (Including 8% Holiday Pay), Car, Benefits

A leading international industrial services business is seeking a hands-on Team Lead, Operations & Technical Services to support day-to-day operations at one of its Dutch sites.

This is a key leadership role combining operational coordination, technical support, and team supervision. The successful candidate will help ensure safe, efficient, and reliable delivery of customer projects while supporting continuous improvement across the operation.

The Role

You will be responsible for coordinating daily site activities, supporting workforce and resource planning, and leading a small operations team. The role also involves providing technical support across equipment and process-related activities, working closely with internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.

This position would suit someone who is practical, organised, and confident working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate day-to-day operational activities on site.
  • Support, guide, and develop members of the operations team.
  • Assist with scheduling, dispatching, and resource planning.
  • Help ensure effective use of equipment, vehicles, and personnel.
  • Monitor performance against planning, quality, safety, and service targets.
  • Provide technical support for pumps, tanks, filtration systems, and related equipment.
  • Support preparation and deployment of equipment in line with operational requirements.
  • Assist in resolving operational and technical issues.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Engineering, and other internal teams.
  • Support initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor and report on operational KPIs.
  • Promote compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental standards.
  • Escalate significant issues and support corrective actions.
  • Contribute to the continued development of the Dutch operation.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in Operations, Industrial Services, or a similar environment.
  • Technical knowledge of pumps, tanks, filtration systems, process equipment, or similar industrial machinery.
  • Experience in industrial hire, petrochemicals, chemicals, water treatment, or process industries.
  • Experience in operational planning, dispatching, and daily coordination.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of Operational Excellence, Lean, or Continuous Improvement principles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making ability.
  • Experience with ERP and/or CRM systems.
  • A proactive, practical, and organised approach.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A valid driving licence.

Languages

  • Dutch: fluent.
  • English: professional working proficiency.
