The Opportunity
Based at RAAF Base Pearce, you will be responsible for fuel operations across Defence Fuel Installations (DFIs) within WA. Working closely with Defence stakeholders, operational teams and contractors, you will oversee day-to-day operations, fuel quality compliance, operational performance and improvement activities.
This role suits someone with leadership experience in fuel, oil & gas, petrochemical, aviation fuel or other industrial operations environments who enjoys leading teams and taking ownership of operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the safe delivery of fuel operations across allocated DFIs.
Manage operational teams to achieve safety, compliance and performance objectives.
Ensure fuel movements, fuel quality testing and operational activities are completed in accordance with Defence requirements.
Monitor operational performance, budgets and resource utilisation.
Support the delivery of Annual Business Plans and operational targets.
Identify and implement continuous improvement and value-for-money initiatives.
Maintain effective relationships with Defence personnel, contractors and key stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and security requirements.
Support operational readiness and resilience across Defence fuel infrastructure.
Prepare and provide operational reports, performance data and compliance information.
Requires
Experience leading operations teams in fuel, oil & gas, petrochemical, aviation fuel or similar industries.
Strong focus on safety and operational compliance.
Ability to build relationships with teams, contractors and customers.
Good problem-solving skills and a practical approach to getting things done.
Current Driver's Licence.
Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain Defence clearance.
