The Operations Supervisor oversees the Organic Compost Facility daily operations to ensure the highest standards of safety and operations are followed. The Operation Supervisor is responsible for providing the highest quality of leadership to the sites staff and processes.
Essential Job Functions

Maximize product demands efficiently, costeffectiveand safely
Ensures the highest standards of safety and operations are followed.
Ensures quality of product meets market standards by understanding all local and state compliance and environmental requirements/regulations.
Oversees the work and schedules of staffin order tomeet product needs and demands.
Makes continuous effort to maximize production and efficiency at the site without compromisingsafetyof employees, customers,and/or vendors.
Overseesthecleanlinessof the facility.
Ensures allstaffparticipatein mandatory safety meetings.
Responsible for verifying accuracy of employee time keepingrequirements,approvingandsubmittingweekly payroll.
Investigates and completes proper documentation for work related injuries, accidents/incidentsin a timely manner
Actively involved with any staff recruitment and disciplining issues.
Properly guide and mentor employees.
Required Qualifications
Must have working knowledge/industry experienceoforganic or composting operations.
Must understand all local and statepermitcompliance and environmental
Musthavestrong communicationskills,decision making skills, negotiation skills,customer serviceskillsand effectivelyinterface withgeneral publicand government regulatory agencies.
Must be able tooperateheavy equipment and be willing to obtainCommerciallicense.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
Bilingual English / Spanish
Strongorganizational, problemsolvingand communication skills
Knowledgeable in DOT and OSHA regulations

Exposure to unprotected heights occasionally.
Environmental:
Exposure todust, smoke, fumes, odors, grease, oil, chemicals, wet slippery surfaces, hot/cold conditions, & noise continuously.

Salary: $70,304 - $92,335/year
