About the Role

This role supports the execution of analytics initiatives aligned with business priorities within the Operations Division. The Analyst will contribute to data-driven decision-making by performing data extraction, analysis, and reporting, as well as supporting performance tracking and the development of actionable insights to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience
Key objectives include:
1. Support in delivering analytics initiatives using established frameworks and methodologies
2. Perform data extraction, preparation, and analysis from internal and external sources to generate meaningful business insights
3. Track, analyse, and report key performance indicators to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance existing data solutions, reports, and dashboards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.

  • Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.

  • Translate analytical outputs into clear, structured, and actionable insights to support business decision-making.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and support the development of data models and reporting solutions.

  • Support the implementation of analytics frameworks and contribute to BI and analytics initiatives/projects.

  • Ensure proper documentation of data sources, assumptions, methodologies, and key findings, while upholding data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness.

  • Support continuous improvement of self-service BI, analytics, and reporting platforms.

  • Assist in the preparation of management and regulatory reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum 2nd class upper of equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Management, IT, Applied Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or any related disciplines

Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, data management or management reporting. Experience in financial services (banking, insurance or credit-related functions) is an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Basic knowledge of data querying and manipulation tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access); Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Python, R) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage
  • Experience in data visualisation and dashboard development is preferred
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
