About the Teams

TikTok's Local Services division is building the future of Online-to-Offline (O2O) commerce. We bridge the gap between digital discovery and real-world consumption through three core pillars:

- Dine-In: Focuses on the "0-1" expansion of our food and beverage ecosystem, managing merchant partnerships and building the infrastructure for local transaction growth.

- Creator Ops Management: Professionalizes the lifestyle content ecosystem, ensuring creators have the operational support and strategy to drive high-intent traffic to local partners.

- Strategy & Planning: Acts as the "central nervous system" of the department, identifying macro trends, optimizing cross-functional processes, and defining the long-term roadmap for the Local Services business.

Responsibilities

As an MBA Operations & Strategy Manager, you will be assigned to a core team but will work across the ecosystem to drive high-impact initiatives:

Strategic Planning & Analytics (Strategy Team)

- Market Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive analysis on the competitive landscape (O2O/F&B) and consumer behavior to identify new growth levers and white-space opportunities.

- Business Transformation: Lead end-to-end strategic projects to optimize internal workflows, from incentive restructuring to cross-functional GTM (Go-to-Market) strategies.

- Performance Governance: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and data frameworks to track the health of both the merchant and creator ecosystems.

Merchant & Market Growth (Dine-In Team)

- Market Expansion (0-1): Identify and hunt for high-potential partnership opportunities within the local services sector (Food, QSR, and beyond).

- Consultative Partnerships: Manage a broad book of business, acting as a strategic advisor to help merchants adopt TikTok’s integrated marketing solutions.

- Scalable Wins: Find "solutions that work" for one merchant and build the playbook to apply them across the entire category.

Creator Ecosystem & Content (Creator Ops Team)

- Incubation & Onboarding: Oversee lifestyle creator onboarding and operational workflows to enhance content production efficiency.

- Growth Strategy: Develop data-driven strategies to drive creator engagement and unique monetization opportunities within the local service space.

- Product Advocacy: Serve as the "voice of the ecosystem" for Product and Engineering teams to help refine our local services tools and ad products.
