How Will You Make an Impact?
The Operations Specialist plays a key role in supporting sales growth through exceptional customer service, strong operational execution and optimized product availability across Cartier’s network.
Acting as the main operational contact for boutiques and partners, the role supports all Cartier product categories and oversees stock availability, replenishment, order flows, invoicing, returns and stock movements.
The Operations Specialist will contribute to business performance and uphold Cartier’s image by ensuring accurate, responsive and reliable operational support. The role works closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, Warehouse, IT and Maison Headquarters to resolve issues, improve processes and ensure a high level of service across the network.
What Will Be Your Mission?
Customer and Network Support
- Act as the main operational contact for boutiques and partners on stock availability, replenishment, returns and stock movements.
- Represent Cartier Operations through excellent communication, collaboration and service.
- Respond to operational inquiries within the defined 48-hour service level.
- Provide clear guidance on operational processes, systems and tools.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Operational Excellence
- Monitor orders and shipment schedules to ensure the best possible delivery lead times.
- Work closely with Maison Headquarters, Warehouse, Finance, Supply Chain and other departments to identify and resolve risks or delays.
- Ensure novelties are dispatched on time and in line with agreed launch plans.
- Monitor order integration and replenishment flows to support accurate and timely invoicing.
- Escalate operational bottlenecks and contribute to improving end-to-end flows.
- Follow up on system incidents and support their timely resolution in collaboration with relevant teams.
Sales Administration and Inventory Operations
- Execute invoicing, stock rebalancing, returns and order-prioritization activities accurately and on time.
- Manage consignment flows, regularization and invoicing.
- Manage claims related to shipment shortages, overages and serial-number discrepancies.
- Ensure the accuracy of order, delivery, billing and stock-related data across operational systems.
- Monitor and manage the back-order portfolio regularly.
- Maintain accurate operational records and ensure data quality across systems.
Systems and User Support
- Act as a key user for relevant operational systems and processes.
- Raise incidents and service requests on behalf of end users and follow up through resolution.
- Provide regular end-user feedback to local IT teams.
- Review and recommend updates to standard operating procedures and training materials.
- Support knowledge sharing and the consistent adoption of systems and processes across the end-user community.
- Participate in system support, testing and release activities.
- Train and support existing users and new joiners.
- Engage with local leadership and Maison Headquarters to support system and process changes.
Network and Stock Oversight
- Maintain a clear understanding of product availability and communicate critical shortages and stock updates.
- Monitor sell-through, firm orders and specific requests from boutiques and partners.
- Alert managers, Commercial, Supply Chain and relevant stakeholders to critical shortages or operational risks.
- Ensure timely follow-up on stock-related requests across the network.
Operational Performance Management
- Maintain accurate and efficient order, delivery, billing and replenishment processes across operational systems.
- Optimize stock levels through regular rebalancing activities.
- Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities to improve service levels, inventory availability and process efficiency.
- Proactively challenge existing ways of working and recommend improvements.
- Contribute to local and regional operational projects and continuous-improvement initiatives.
How Will You Experience Success With Us?
You will be successful in this role if you bring:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- At least five years of relevant professional experience in operations, supply chain, order management, sales administration or inventory management.
- The ability to work independently and manage operational responsibilities with limited supervision.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP and experience managing order-to-delivery and invoicing processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good working knowledge of PowerPoint and other business systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
- A customer-focused mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- The confidence to identify risks, escalate issues and drive them through to resolution.
- Experience supporting retail, luxury, consumer goods or a multi-site commercial network would be an advantage.
