Operations Specialist I – eCommerce (9-month contract)

Are you forward-thinking and always looking to establish better systems and processes?

As an operations specialist, you will play a pivotal role in creating a best-in-class seller and customer experience on BestBuy.ca. You’ll be part of a dynamic, collaborative Operations team responsible for supporting Best Buy Marketplace sellers, investigating technical and operational issues.

In this role, the successful candidate must be located in the Greater Vancouver, BC, area, where we practice a remote-first working model, leveraging in-person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you’ll do:

• Be the main point of contact for Marketplace sellers requiring technical and operational support related to product uploads, payment inquiries, customer orders, and seller reviews.
• Partner with internal teams to investigate and resolve technical and operational issues.
• Provide ad hoc support for weekly Marketplace invoicing and content-audit processes.
• Support scheduled and ad hoc operational processes related to fulfillment attributes, inventory flow, and product-status changes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and partner with the Operations Community of Practice to assess value and priority.

What we’re looking for:

• One to three years of experience in operations, business administration, or a related discipline.
• One to three years of experience in customer or vendor technical support or troubleshooting.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong critical-thinking skills and attention to detail.

Annualized Compensation Range

$37,000.00 - $41,000.00

Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
