About the Role
Are you passionate about driving operations and strategic initiatives within a dynamic global team? Join us as our new Operations Specialist and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Data & Technology Finance (D&T Finance).
Your role and responsibilities include:
Manage divisional operations processes in alignment with Data & Technology strategic priorities
Create, compile, and present management reports, presentations, and workforce data analyses
Oversee and execute strategic workforce planning in line with financial targets
Ensure adherence to the governance framework and support consistent operational standards
Oversee Objectives & Key Results and manage quarterly review processes
Prepare, coordinate, and facilitate leadership meetings and divisional events
Act as a trusted partner and central point of contact for operational topics across the leadership team and wider division
You will directly contribute to strategic decision-making and drive operational excellence across the division.
About the Team
We are the central D&T Finance Office, currently a team of four, embedded within a larger Tech Division of approximately 400 internal employees delivering technology capabilities for Swiss Re’s Finance function As a globally present team, you will collaborate with colleagues across locations and time zones. We are responsible for strategic and financial oversight, communication strategy and execution, and key operational processes across the division.
About You
Strategic and creative thinker with high energy, proactivity, and a strong can-do attitude
Experience in operations management, project management, consulting, or similar fields, ideally with at least 5 years of relevant experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging with leadership teams
Proficient in MS Office / Office 365 tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Loop
Experienced in working with data, deriving insights, and using tools such as dashboards, Excel pivot tables, or similar reporting solutions
Experienced in, or motivated to learn, how emerging AI and automation tools can improve operational efficiency and ways of working
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1,900 and EUR 3,200 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
