The Operations Specialist leverages technical expertise to troubleshoot hardware issues, manage key operating systems, and ensure seamless operation of JOLT EV charging stations. This role involves backend operational support to guarantee optimal performance and customer satisfaction, and comfort using AI tools for everyday optimization.
Utilize electrical and systems knowledge to triage and troubleshoot hardware issues with JOLT EV charging stations.
Manage key operating systems to monitor asset performance and remotely troubleshoot and triage faults or issues promptly.
Manage EV maintenance activities, including raising work orders, managing third party maintenance contractors, monitoring job completion, and ensuring timely maintenance.
Serve as the escalation point for customer service support calls and tickets, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
Address customer complaints and inquiries related to EV charging stations
Liaise with Network Growth teams to conduct pre-commissioning duties and commissioning checks before chargers go live.
Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure units are in stock and to the necessary specifications for install
Monitor unit functionality, ensuring no damages are present throughout the delivery process
Refine operating procedures and processes to enhance installation and user experiences with JOLT EV chargers, taking an AI-first mindset to automate and improve
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical or engineering field.
1-3 years of experience with electrical or technical hardware systems.
Proven product support experience with remote troubleshooting, EV-specific knowledge advantageous.
Working proficiency with AI tools (e.g. Claude) to support troubleshooting research, documentation, reporting, and identifying process improvements. This role is expected to use AI as a core part of how work gets done, not as an occasional add-on.
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage contractors efficiently.
Proficiency in interpreting technical O&M manuals
Self-learning capabilities, with the ability to work both independently and in a team under pressure.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
