Job Description

Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations across 30 countries providing individual services that address our client's logistics challenges.

The Air Import Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end air import operations, ensuring timely shipment processing, accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and excellent customer service through effective coordination with airlines, overseas agents, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate end-to-end Air Import shipments.
  • Review and process import documentation including AWB, invoices, and shipment records.
  • Coordinate with airlines, overseas agents, customs brokers, and transport providers for timely shipment clearance and delivery.
  • Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to customers and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with import regulations, SOPs, and customer requirements.
  • Handle shipment exceptions and support issue resolution.
  • Maintain operational records and support billing activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • 4–8 years of experience in Air Import operations within Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry.

Skills

  • Knowledge of Air Import processes and documentation.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with good problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and freight management systems.
  • High degree of confidentiality and compliance is a pre-requisite.
