What to Expect:
The Operational Excellence Facilitator plays a key role in rolling out Shingo Principles and driving a culture of continuous improvement. This role emphasizes communication, organization, and support for systems leaders and operations leaders in developing and executing plans that strengthen the operational excellence culture. The Facilitator will partner with cross-functional teams to support engagement, foster alignment, and help drive sustainable improvements across the site.

The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the responsibilities listed below, as reasonably required by business needs.
• Assist in planning and executing activities related to the operational excellence model, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and world-class standards.
• Develop, organize, and implement training programs on operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate and continuously improve operational excellence systems and tools.
• Maintain scorecards, pulse checks, and visual management systems to measure behavior adoption and track engagement results.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute logistics for internal events, including group training sessions, meetings, and engagement activities.
• Assist in managing meetings, visits, and tours to the site, ensuring effective communication and smooth execution of activities.
• Collaborate with system leaders to plan, develop, execute, and document activities associated with the Strategic Alignment System.
• Help site managers promote behaviors and mindsets aligned with operational excellence through visual management and site-wide engagement activities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation of operational excellence systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate assessments of operational excellence systems and tools to drive sustainable improvements.
• Communicate the progress, status, and outcomes of operational excellence initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance and support on the application of operational excellence methods and tools.
• Coordinate benchmarking activities with site managers and system leaders to identify, adapt, and implement best practices, emerging trends, and world-class performance indicators.
• Promote recognition and celebration of Shingo-aligned behaviors to sustain engagement and cultural transformation.
• Support administrative activities for the site leadership team.
• Gather information and prepare reports related to production, projects, and corporate metrics, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Education & Experience:
Education
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Training or certification in Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Shingo Principles is preferred but not required.
Experience
• 2 to 5 years of experience in Operational Excellence, Communications, Continuous Improvement, or Quality Systems within a regulated industry.
• Proven ability to facilitate workshops, activities, huddles, and meetings.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with process documentation, project planning, and event planning.
Skills
• Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to build alignment among site leadership and frontline associates.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and cultural metrics.
• Collaborative approach with the ability to foster partnerships across multiple functions.

Compensation:
The annualized base salary range for this salaried position is $63,600 to $99,500 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation will depend on factors including relevant experience, skill set, knowledge, geographic location, education, business needs, and market demand.
