A leading port logistics operator who specialise in handling dry bulk, break bulk and project cargo are searching for an Operations Shift Manager to join their team in Oman.
You will be focused on supervising and controlling all bulk shipping and cargo related activities across the terminal both landside, waterside and logistics, your responsibilities will include:
-Managing loading and unloading of breakbulk and project cargo -Managing delivery and packing lists/equipment -Leading staff safety and checking quality - Reporting to operations managerWhat you will bring:
-Background with managing loading and unloading of project cargo on vessels -Experience in break bulk and project cargo -RoRo experience is beneficial -Bachelors degree is preferred -Experience in maritime, port or terminal -Equipment and lifting gear experience -Experience managing a large teamBenefits:
