Operations Review Specialist

Hope Florida

Location: Statewide

Salary: $60,000

This is not a telework position. Candidate must report to the local office.

This is a highly responsible position tasked with supporting statewide Hope Florida Operations and Disaster Response. Under general supervision, serves as the liaison between Operations, Training, Program Office, Region Administration and Human Resources. Provides professional statistical support for Hope Florida Operations, to include development of data collection instruments, data collections, data analysis, and assisting with Activate Hope.

Lead, plan, design, and monitor effective Implementation strategies for Hope Florida projects and special initiatives. Develop change management activities designed to build a culture of performance and innovation. Work with regional teams, policy team, training team, Office of Quality and Innovation, HR, and IT in the formulation of particular plans and activities to support project implementation.

Develop and implement various smartsheets to support Hope Florida Operations and ensure consistent tracking of performance indicators and outcome measures.

Works with other Department programs to integrate the services of Hope Florida with other departmental programs, such as the Office of Child and Family Well-Being, Office of Quality and Innovation, Substance Abuse and Mental Health, and Economic Self-Sufficiency.

Works in collaboration with Operations Manager and Human Resources team to develop and implement employee retention and workforce management strategies statewide

Implements retention strategies by developing and distributing recognition initiatives, and collecting frontline staff feedback to strengthen the overall staff experience.

Assists in development, implementation, and oversight of special initiatives consistent with the direction of the Governor, the Legislature and the Secretary of the Department, and Assistant Secretary of Office of Community Services.

Assists the Hope Florida Operations Manager with Activate Hope duties, including volunteer coordination, registration communications, immediate deployment preparation, and disaster-related data reporting.

Reviews, analyzes and distributes data and reports at both the aggregate and individual level on trends and works alongside the Hope Florida Data Specialist technical issues within the Hope Florida Regional areas.

Knowledge, skills, and abilites:

Proficent in Smartsheet, all microsoft programs (specifically excel, powerpoint, and forms).

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors' Degree or equivalent work experience.
