Job Description

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a highly organized, experienced Operations Research Analyst (All Source) – Counter‑Proliferation / Procurement Specialist to support operations.

Location: MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL.

Role & Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Support a Combatant Command Directorate of Operations, Interagency Coordination and Targeting Division (ICTD), and interagency partners by coordinating, synchronizing, and integrating DoD capabilities with IA authorities to enable time‑sensitive, dynamic, and deliberate operations that achieve whole‑of‑government effects.
  • Work as part of a DoD team focused on irregular warfare in close collaboration with U.S. Government partners.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on fusing intelligence with diverse data sources to illuminate and exploit enemy vulnerabilities related to proliferation, production, procurement, and WMD networks.
  • Deliver accurate, complete, tailored analytic products through deep‑dive research using advanced techniques and tools for data crawling, scraping, aggregation, and triage—augmenting serialized IC data with unique, non‑traditional, open‑source, and interagency case information.
  • Enhance and expand DoD capabilities by developing effects against enemy networks, closing exploited gaps and seams, and providing recommendations to action arms, policymakers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Identify, enumerate, and characterize enemy network nodes, key personalities, and TTPs, applying network‑development methodologies and nodal analysis.
  • Conduct unclassified and classified research, structured analytics, and forensic exploitation of raw, structured, serialized, commercial, technical, academic, travel, financial, law‑enforcement, IC, CEM, publicly available, and partner‑provided data.
  • Produce complete, cohesive operational support packages including baseball cards, information papers, network presentations, link charts, evidentiary packages, charge presentations, process/vulnerability products, target packages, and pattern‑of‑life studies supporting deliberate and dynamic DoD/IA actions against priority targets.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Expert knowledge of capabilities and network‑analysis methodologies related to trans‑regional organized criminal TTPs and CENTCOM historic, current, and emerging threats.
  • Experience in target development, target validation, and apply collection strategies against designated targets.
  • Direct experience supporting DoD and law enforcement efforts countering illegal exports, money laundering, and illicit procurement involving WMD, UAS, and advanced conventional weapons (ACW).
  • Specialized experience in intelligence collection focused on illuminating and exploiting proliferation and procurement vulnerabilities.
  • Recent, relevant experience supporting a Combatant Command Interagency Action Group and partners such as HSI, FBI, State, Treasury, Commerce, and Justice, particularly within Counter‑Procurement and Network Defeat Task Forces.
  • Direct experience working with combined interagency authorities countering scientific and technical capabilities used in UAS, ACW, and WMD programs.
  • Experience identifying threat networks targeting U.S. and partner interests and supporting planning for future risk‑mitigation efforts related to UAS, ACW, and WMD.
  • Experience operating across tactical, operational, strategic, multinational, and interagency environments with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting DoD strategic and operational Irregular Warfare objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with U.S. Government interagency partners.
  • Proven ability to perform all‑source operational intelligence analysis.
  • Ability to deliver unclassified, classified, and parallel‑reconstructed products tailored to diverse authorities and mission sets.
  • Strong understanding of law‑enforcement organizational structures, functions, data sources, programs, and records‑management requirements.
  • Expertise supporting financial investigations targeting complex global money laundering, fraud, and criminal financial networks.
  • Experience identifying systemic weaknesses in DoD supply chains and producing analytical recommendations for acquisition and procurement improvements.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to brief 4‑star and senior department‑level leadership.
  • Experience ensuring deconfliction, equities checks, and properly articulated intelligence collection requirements for national‑level stakeholders.
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must have a current U.S. Passport.
  • Must hold an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Desired Qualifications:
