Job Description

The Operations Project Manager supports Cotiviti's Retrieval Operations team with new technology initiatives, triage of system issues, client onboarding, process improvement, and general day to day or larger scale projects to ensure the overall success of the department and the revenue the team supports. This role will develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, etc. Will also identify and manage project dependencies and critical path and track project milestones and deliverables. This role also serves as a project lead for key initiatives.

Responsibilities

We are hiring for a Project Management role embedded within our Project Management / Process Improvement Program. While this role requires a solid foundation in traditional project management skills, we are also looking for a specific area of focus:

Executing process improvement initiatives and driving change management efforts across retrieval. We're looking for someone with:

  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, etc. Meet and receive feedback from project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Track project milestones and deliverables. Serve as a project lead for key initiatives as directed.
  • Work closely with sales/sales support, implementation teams and client services/account management to develop and ensure proper delivery of client expectations.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Participate in refinement of existing products, product development process and operational UAT sessions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and resource to training, marketing, internal stakeholders and Training/QA teams as they develop and execute product and/or operational plans. Learn and execute established processes. Suggest, refine and document improvements to said established processes.
  • Review and understand client contracts to ensure timely and accurate execution of deliverables.
  • Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
  • Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years’ experience in healthcare/managed care or other appropriate industry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and teams in a business setting against hard deadlines.
  • Excellent critical problem solving, presentation, analytical and quantitative skills with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to speak and present with authority, knowledge and confidence to stakeholders and clients on behalf of the company.
  • Must be able to adjust well to new situations and changing priorities and motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Autonomous and solution-oriented, with a strong customer service ethic.
  • Familiarity working with multiple software and data applications, including proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with launching new products and services, healthcare data subject matter, agile methodologies and predictive modeling solutions a plus.
  • Possibility for travel up to 10%.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.

  • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance.
  • No adverse environmental conditions expected.

Base compensation is $60K - $85K. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
