About the Role

The New Product Operations (NPO) Project Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional Global Supply Chain (GSC) projects to industrialise new products and support delivery to market.

This role focuses on end-to-end project execution within a defined scope, coordinating across functions such as Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, Supply Planning, and external partners to ensure delivery against quality, cost, and timeline commitments.

The role requires effective cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management, with a strong focus on execution, risk management, and operational delivery. While contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, the scope is primarily centred on successful delivery of assigned programmes, with opportunities to grow into broader strategic and transformation responsibilities over time.

Operational Accountabilities

  1. Project Delivery & Execution
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of new product industrialisation projects within a defined scope
  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, ensuring alignment across GSC functions
  • Drive production readiness and ramp-up activities, ensuring delivery milestones are met
  • Track and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating appropriately when required
  • Provide regular project updates, highlighting key risks, progress, and mitigation actions
  1. Cross-functional Coordination
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure aligned execution
  • Translate project requirements into clear deliverables and timelines for contributing teams
  • Support decision-making processes by providing accurate, timely project insights
  1. Resource, Budget & Partner Support
  • Support resource planning and prioritisation for assigned projects
  • Monitor CAPEX spend and project budgets, escalating variances where necessary
  • Work closely with external partners and suppliers to ensure delivery against agreed plans
  1. Continuous Improvement Contribution
  • Identify process improvement opportunities within projects and support implementation
  • Contribute to the adoption of standard ways of working and best practices within OPM
  • Support broader transformation initiatives where required

About You

  • Proven experience in project management within manufacturing, operations, or new product introduction environments
  • Strong ability to collaborate across teams and manage stakeholders effectively
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and delivering within structured timelines
  • Able to identify risks, solve problems, and drive execution-focused decisions
  • Good understanding of project governance, risk management, and operational processes
  • Experience supporting budget tracking and resource coordination
  • Proactive, organised, and able to work independently while keeping stakeholders aligned

Qualifications

  • Degree in a STEM or relevant discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Project management or operational certifications (e.g. Six Sigma, PMP) are advantageous
