Job Description

The Operations Project Manager oversees internal operations projects and represents Operations in assigned product launch activities. For launch projects, the Project Manager coordinates key logistics and planning activities for the phasing in and out of products at Nobel Biocare. For internal projects, the Project Manager identifies, develops, and manages initiatives that drive service improvements and cost reductions. This role ensures robust plans are in place to meet deliverables for assigned projects. They will work on-site 5 days in Yorba Linda.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages all aspects of diverse projects which require technical knowledge and expertise.
  • Uses project management tools including EBS (IT/Engineering/Scientific).
  • Leads, coordinates and/or facilitates cross functional technical teams with direct and dotted line reporting to achieve project goals in support of the company’s goals and annual operating plan.
  • Tracks, communicates and reports on the issues and status updates for projects.
  • Projects are aimed at, but not limited to, assortment change as well as process development and reengineering work in manufacturing, warehouse management, transportation, labeling, packaging, and order fulfillment processes

Job Requirements:

Critical Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or Engineering is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in an operational/manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with SAP (or other ERP) and Master Data systems preferred
  • Experience in Supply or Production Planning in SAP is preferred
  • Qualified Project Management certification preferred
  • Ability to run a project from concept to conclusion, including outlining goals, project phases, timelines, resources, budget, and activities, as well as monitoring progress, taking corrective actions, and escalating issues on a timely basis to ensure project objectives and deadlines are met.

Critical Skills/Technical Know-How:

  • Fluent written and spoken English; other languages are an asset.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; well-organized and structured.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with good business acumen.
  • Comfortable working in matrix organizations across multiple functions and geographies.
  • Understand the links and connections between the supply chain, phase in/out, master data, product development, and sales.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
