Job Description

Minimum qualifications

  • Experience with funding operations, budget governance, or payments.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools or methodologies to identify and resolve operational inefficiencies.
  • Experience managing the full lifecycle of multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally to solve complex problems, drive project ownership, and align business objectives.
  • Experience synthesizing stakeholder requirements and guiding teams through complex operational processes.

We are on a transformation journey to automate Google.org’s funding process, and we need a strategic owner to drive execution and help land our next wave of cross-functional solutions.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $111000 - $159000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations to enable the global Google.org team to meet funding goals with a focus on delivery.
  • Collaborate globally with external partners, such as vendor operations and donor-advised funds, to set objectives and implement process improvements.
  • Work across Google.org and internal partners, including finance, compliance, legal, and partnerships, to align goals and drive effective change management.
  • Manage an overview of project goals and deliverables presented on a timeline, using the roadmap to manage stakeholder expectations and coordinate resources.
  • Establish and track processes in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with compliance and finance policies while identifying opportunities for automation.
