Job Description

To coordinate with and assist the Operations Program Management office in the day-to-day management and record keeping of specific program activities as they relate to manufacturing operations. Ensures proper project visibility is provided to TCOM management for decision making processes.

  • Coordinate with Manufacturing Managers on project status and maintain program schedules from start of fabrication through factory acceptance test
  • Assist Operations Program office in defining scope of task to create the framework for the Work Breakdowns Structure
  • Research and compose rationales to justify man hours and materials cost for quoted tasks
  • Coordinate production meetings with all functional departments to generate project production status reports
  • Assist Operations Program office to develop and monitor project spend plans
  • Provide Earned Value inputs to the Operations Program Management office as required
  • Maintain a good working knowledge on all active programs to facilitate the absence of an Operations Program Manager
  • Assist Operations Program office in controlling and reducing manufacturing costs
  • Provide weekly project cost visibility and utilization reports to Operations and Manufacturing Managers
  • Maintain past program files in relation to schedule, labor and materials for reference to quote future opportunities
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent amount of education and experience.

Experience Requirement: Three to five years of project financial analysis experience and formal training in the Earned Value Management System, or equivalent. Excellent organizational and communication skills required.

In compliance with Maryland state and local laws, the salary range for this role in Maryland is $68,000 – $110,00. The range provided is a general guideline and good faith estimate representative of all experience levels but is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. TCOM considers several factors when extending an offer including, but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, a candidate’s experience, education/training, key skills, internal equity, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
