To conduct the back-office operations. Ensure the accuracy, timely and smooth running of all back-office expiration with great emphasis on transaction, statements, accent recommendation and settlement.
1. Verifying accuracy and completeness of investment transactions.
2. Completing necessary data input for investment transaction.
3. Preparing necessary settlement instructions.
4. Matching confirmations of investment transactions.
5. Responding to queries from counterparties
6. Monitoring maturities and executing necessary transfer instructions.
7. Updating securities valuations.
8. Preparing daily and periodic reconciliation of correspondent bank accounts.
9. Identifying and resolving settlement incidents.
10. Running the settlements process for local and international equities.
11. Ensure all confirmations are sent within the designated time frame.
12. Ensure trade settlement occurs and follow up on any issues.
13. Pre-matching, Monitoring and Resolution of all failed trades related to Brokerage Clients.
14. Reconciliation daily.
15. Reporting of all outstanding fails and cash positions daily to line manager.
16. Producing and monitoring management reports daily.
17. Procedural & control compliance with creation, review, and update of procedures where necessary.
18. Participation in project work where applicable.
