Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity through its Indonesia entity, PT AHK Testing Indonesia, who is looking for an Operations Monitoring Officer to join our team based in Balikpapan. PT AHK Testing Indonesia provides independent analysis and inspection services to the metals, minerals and solid fuels industries. We have a well-earned reputation for our knowledge and professionalism in all aspects of weighing, sampling and analysis.

The Operation Monitoring Officer conducts detailed monitoring and administration support to the whole operation activities. Collecting necessary information and documentation relating to the job handled. Responsible for monitoring the entire job once the job received, during the field operation activities, until the loading/discharging is completed. Provide regular reports for the client to communicate the job progress, findings and any potential problem related to the job. In addition, this position requires good communication, quick response with the related parties, good understanding of job procedure with client requirements and also need to work closely with other departments to facilitate communication and coordination.

Furthermore, this role involves adhering to safety protocols, ensuring environmental compliance, and continuously seeking professional development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Essential

• Exceptional Administrative Skills: Demonstrates precision and meticulous attention to detail in all administrative tasks.
• Advanced Excel and Spreadsheet Proficiency: Skilled in data organization and analysis, with a strong command of Microsoft Excel and related tools.
  

Required Competencies

• Reporting: Create all report of the Vessel/Barge/Stockpile sampling job to the client on daily basis. includes ensure accuracy and are inline with the actual and standart practice.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and other departments. Including communciate with all vendor regarding the operational needs and field team relating operational activities.
• Monitoring : Monitoring each job progress since the job received up to completed.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of identifying issues and implementing effective solutions quickly.
• Organizational Skills: Manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with monitoring tools, software, and data management systems. This is including record & monitor all operations inventory, samples and database regarding operational activities.
• Basic Knowledge : Required general knowledge in laboratorium coal, metal minerals, and any commodity (will be considered).

Required Work Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in related fields is preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum high school/vocational education majoring in administrative, or closely related fields.
• Fresh graduates with good analytical skills are welcome to apply.
