Job Description

Responsible for achieving profitable growth in selected markets or with selected customers, generating market analysis of current and future technology, trends or operating requirements, developing a professional sales force with appropriate sales and technical expertise to deliver on the objectives.

Clear understanding of the client business models, procurement styles and organizational structures, Weatherford business unit models and support structures is essential to match offerings to client requirements and further anticipate market evolution. He/she will be responsible to develop high level client relations consistent with Business Unit client strategies and as required for development of market intelligence and trends. In-depth and hands-on support to WFT sales teams to build a PL sales force using the same vocabulary and approach across the Regions, assist in developing winning bidding strategies and developing/communicating commercial contract management best practices throughout the teams.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains close client contact and communication on matters of service quality and keeps up to date on client's proposed activities, ensuring regular service quality reviews are held and documented
  • Ensures implementation to and compliance with the General Wireline Policy and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Evaluates the quality, proficiency and efficiency of field operations executing wellsite visits to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and conducts analysis of reports and log quality control
  • Coordinates technical sales resources in order to win contracts with the Customer.
  • Provides high level client support to all the segments of the clients as required from time-to-time, and liaises communications with the local and region managers.
  • Facilitate (together with personnel) Training Workshops (i.e. Conveyance Workshop, Bidding Workshop, Sales Workshop, etc.).
  • Technical resource to identify needs of the clients to propose integrated customers solutions.
  • Monitors market expectations, requirements, trends, and contributes to collecting market input relevant for his/her area.
  • To keep up to date on competitor strategies, services and technology, and communicate this information through appropriate channels.
  • Cross product line self-training with focus on Formation Evaluation and/or Wireline Technologies
  • Demonstrate and improve knowledge and understanding of Wireline operations policies & procedures, which include Radiation, Ballistics, Pressure Control, rig up, and preventative maintenance.
  • Contribute, participate or lead equipment failure investigations that support Root Cause Analysis reports
  • Ensures the Regional PL Support functions are aware of tender activity and have the required information to support in local business development decisions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Significant experience in Wireline operations, preferably within the oilfield services industry.
  • Previous experience in an operations leadership or management role.
  • Strong understanding of wireline field operations, equipment, procedures, and service delivery.
  • Proven experience managing field personnel and operational resources.
  • Experience working with oil & gas operators and customers.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE and operational safety requirements.
  • Good understanding of operational and financial performance management.
  • 10 plus years Experience with Weatherford Wireline services or similar oilfield service companies.
  • Experience managing Wireline operations in Pakistan
  • Technical certification or relevant professional qualification.
  • Experience managing multiple field crews and service lines.
  • Experience with customer-facing operational roles.
