Levata is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Louisville, Kentucky warehouse. Reporting to the Director of Warehouse, this role is responsible for leading warehouse personnel, managing inventory and fulfillment activities, maintaining operational efficiency, and ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
The Warehouse Operations Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to support customer requirements, maintain inventory accuracy, and achieve operational goals while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
Warehouse Operations
- Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and production support.
- Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and productivity to ensure operational objectives are met.
- Lead daily team meetings and communicate priorities, expectations, and performance goals.
- Partner with internal departments to support customer needs and maintain service levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and operational procedures.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and team members.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee development efforts.
- Foster a positive work environment focused on safety, accountability, communication, and teamwork.
- Address employee concerns and support employee engagement initiatives.
Process Improvement & Quality
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, efficiency, and productivity.
- Support inventory accuracy initiatives and operational best practices.
- Partner with Quality and Operations teams to resolve process issues and implement corrective actions.
- Assist with the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and operational enhancements.
Safety & Compliance
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Support ISO requirements and maintain operational standards within the facility.
- Ensure warehouse operations are conducted in a safe, organized, and efficient manner.
Qualifications
Required
- 3-5 years of warehouse, logistics, distribution, or operations leadership experience.
- Previous experience leading warehouse employees in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and warehouse or inventory management systems.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a warehouse environment.
