We are seeking a quality-driven senior professional to oversee the efficient day-to-day execution of warehouse and logistics activities, from the position of Operations Manager You will coordinate operational teams, support process adherence, maintain safety and quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Salary range: 37.166 – 58.534 Euro gross per year*​

Your Responsibilities:

  • Operational leadership for the end-to-end fulfilment of production plans, ensuring adherence to Standard Work, quality processes, and right-first-time delivery for the automotive customer.
  • Quality governance through a zero-defect mindset, disciplined process compliance, and proactive management of deviations to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Delivery performance ensuring products reach the customer on time, every time, through effective application of Just-in-Time logistics principles and rigorous management of dispatch windows.
  • Performance visibility through the implementation and governance of visual delivery-tracking systems, enabling timely decision-making and transparent commodity status across the operation.
  • Customer resolution through structured management of customer concerns, robust root-cause analysis, effective countermeasures, and sustained corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
  • Workforce leadership through the strategic coordination of production employees and Supervisors, establishing clear priorities, accountability, and consistent execution against operational objectives.
  • Customer alignment by anticipating and responding to internal and external customer requirements while maintaining strong collaboration across the logistics and automotive partnership.
  • Management reporting through the development and continuous improvement of materials and production reporting systems that provide accurate, relevant, and timely information to senior leadership and customers.
  • Business performance through accountability for safety, quality, delivery, cost, employee engagement, and environmental objectives, supported by data-driven performance management.
  • Transformation delivery through active leadership and participation in strategic company and partnership projects, ensuring agreed milestones, outcomes, and operational benefits are achieved.
  • Continuous improvement through sponsorship of Lean initiatives, including 5S, Standardised Work, process discipline, and meaningful employee involvement across the operation.

Your Profile:

  • Academic background in Manufacturing, Logistics, Business Management, Engineering, or a related discipline; an MBA or equivalent qualification would be an advantage.
  • Leadership experience of at least five years in a managerial role within a fast-paced industry, ideally within logistics. Industrial, automotive, or manufacturing backgrounds, including experience leading teams and influencing across multiple organizational levels, will also be considered.
  • Operational excellence and process governance, demonstrated through the application of Lean tools, Standardized Work, process mapping, and continuous-improvement principles across a broad range of operational areas.
  • Automotive operations knowledge covering relevant processes such as CKD, sequencing, subassembly, packing, order fulfilment, and related materials and warehouse flows, would be an advantage.
  • Management-systems awareness gained in environments governed by recognized quality, automotive, environmental, health, and safety standards, such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
  • Systems expertise in SAP, AOS, or comparable ERP/MRP applications, with practical knowledge of sequencing, order fulfilment or export packing, warehouse management, returnable container management, materials requirements planning, and supply chain management.
  • Cost optimization experience, including the identification, initiation, and implementation of sustainable cost-reduction programs.
  • Project delivery experience using recognized project-management methodologies and tools, together with the ability to support system implementations, process changes, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Language proficiency in English at minimum B2 level, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken business contexts.
  • Problem-solving capability with a structured, logical, and efficient approach to analyzing complex issues, identifying root causes, evaluating alternatives, and implementing practical, scalable solutions.
  • Innovation mindset with the openness to new ideas, the ability to adopt new workflows quickly, and the initiative to identify simpler, more effective ways of working.
  • Safety leadership demonstrated through a thorough awareness of operational risks and a consistent commitment to safe working practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Communication and collaboration characterized by professional, precise communication, strong customer orientation, and the ability to work constructively with colleagues, stakeholders, and business partners.
  • Team leadership demonstrated through the ability to engage, motivate, develop, and hold team members accountable while fostering a respectful, inclusive, and continuously improving work environment.
