Join Veolia ANZ as an Operations Manager at our Mt Gambier facility. You'll lead our South East Collections and Liquid services, manage Council Transfer Services, and ensure safe, environmentally responsible operations across the board.

Manage operations within budget and financial objectives

Identify, manage, and report on risks and opportunities—prioritizing and implementing solutions promptly
Champion safety initiatives and build a strong safety culture across employees and contractors
Organize monthly toolbox meetings and ensure quality preparation
Meet operational targets and KPIs
Coordinate with technical, asset management, financial, and administrative teams to achieve site objectives
Lead and guide the operational team and internal stakeholders
Spot contract risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to the Contract Manager
Maintain accurate, current, and audit-ready operational data across all systems
Prepare monthly performance reports for Council and support contract renewal and variation processes
Demonstrated experience in a contract management or commercial leadership role
A solid operational background with the ability to maintain meaningful oversight of site-based service delivery
Proven ability to manage and grow senior client relationships with professionalism and confidence
Strong computer literacy skills, including proficiency in Google Suite,
Valid driver's licence
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Sound analytical skills with the ability to interpret and report on data
Competent computer skills
