We are seeking an experience and motived Operational Manager to oversee our Housekeeping and Maintenance operations while supporting the General Manager in driving overall hotel performance.
This leadership position is responsible for ensuring the hotel's physical condition, cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is passionate about team development, asset protection, and operational efficiency.
The operational Manager oversees the daily operations of the Housekeeping and Maintenance departments, ensuring the hotel maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality, This role is responsible for protecting hotel assets through preventive maintenance, leading high performing teams, and supporting guest satisfaction initiatives.

This position serves as a Manager-On-Duty and may act as the General Manager's representative when necessary.
Oversee daily housekeeping operations, room readiness, inspections, and cleaning standards.
Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet or exceed brand standards
Manage scheduling staffing levels, training, coaching, and performance management for Housekeeping team members.
Partner closely with Front Desk leadership to ensure room status accuracy and efficient room turnover.
Conduct regular quality inspections and implement corrective action plans when neccessary.
Lead preventative maintenance programs and ensure timely completion of work orders.
Maintain building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety equipment
Perform regular property inspections to identify maintenance, safety, and appearance concerns.
Coordinate vender services, repairs, and approval capital improvement projects
Protect hotel assets through proactive maintenance and repair planning
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and fire-life-safety standards
Oversee proper chemical handling, MSDS compliance, and equipment safety procedures,
Maintain accurate inspection records, logs, and compliance documentation
Respond professionally and effectively to emergencies and operational incidents
Promote a culture of workplace safety and accountability
Minimum 3 years of hotel operations, housekeeping, maintenance, or facilities management leadership experience
Proven experience leading and developing teams in a hospitality environment
Strong understanding of hotel operations, cleanliness standards, and preventative maintenance programs.
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
Experience managing labor costs, departmental budgets, and inventory controls
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

As one of the starting directors of the company, James Woo brings fourteen years of hospitality industry experience to WS Management. He began his hospitality career as the General Manager of a select-service hotel. He transitioned to acquisitions and eventually to hotel property development and founded WS Management in 2013.
Sean Woo - Chief Financial Officer
CFO Sean is a founding member of WS Management and is responsible for the company’s financial, accounting and risk management activities. Sean also actively participates in the company’s long-term strategies through identifying, negotiating and financing real estate acquisitions.
Janet Fioriti - Vice President
Janet is responsible for the operating performance, asset preservation, quality and service excellence, revenue management and top-line sales performance for each asset in the portfolio. She is keenly focused on building a culture of entrepreneurial spirit, outrageous hospitality and employee engagement and care.
