Job Responsibilities
• Provide leadership, management, and assurance for day-to-day operational services.
• Lead and manage site-based operational staff, setting clear expectations, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery.
• Oversee and govern visitor access and permissions processes, ensuring compliance with project, client, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure accurate operational records are maintained.
• Manage operational planning for service delivery and continuous improvement.
• Act as the initial escalation point for operational issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project delivery.
• Manage contractor performance, ensuring service levels and delivery standards meet contractual and project requirements.
• Develop, review, and improve operational processes, driving efficiencies, standardisation, and continuous improvement across site operations.
• Produce and review operational performance reports, dashboards, and management information to inform decision-making and highlight risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with client representatives, project leadership, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted operational partner.
• Ensure a professional, customer-focused operational service is delivered across the site, setting standards for communication, responsiveness, and stakeholder engagement.
• Identify and manage operational risks, implementing mitigations and contributing to site-wide safety, security, and compliance objectives.
Qualifications
• CITB H&S test pass certificate for Manager and Professionals
• Previous experience in training or onboarding
Experience
• Use of Microsoft packages such as Outlook, Excel and Word
• Previous experience of having coordinated onboarding or training
• Skilled at developing strong relationships within large organisations
• Presenting and training delivering skills
