The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the operation of assigned units in support of the location’s Operations team. This position will be tasked with achieving targeted sales, profitability, customer service, and market share goals, while protecting the long-term success and integrity of our business. The Operations Manager is also responsible for managing his/her operations team and performing other responsibilities as directed by their manager. This is an exempt position and reports to the Director of Operations.
This position will support: Texas, Colorado, Utah, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming
Responsibilities:
- Manages the day-to-day activities of a given region, leading and managing through others to generate desired results established by set goals.
- Ensure all products are prepared and presented in accordance with brand or company standards.
- Analyzes and manages financial results of the Retail Units to ensure maximum profits are balanced with guest and team member satisfaction.
- Uses judgment and discretion to resolve multifaceted questions and problems and refers more complex issues to the Director of Operations.
- Monitor’s activities, duties, and responsibilities of the management team to ensure they are performing high-level work daily.
- Maintains an in-depth understanding and relationship of all applicable brand standards, procedures and protocols to maximize execution of the brand standards.
- Maintains an understanding of all federal, state, and local sanitary, safety, and health standards, and all procedures and protocols to comply with the law.
- Identifies and executes hiring, termination, advancement, promotion, or any other associate status change needs.
- Maintains effective communication and positive team member relations by ensuring all team member activities are performed in a timely and professional manner, to include hiring, training, progressive discipline and resolving team member relations issues.
- Supports and enhances working relationships with retail partners and supporting departments.
- Consistently provides direct reports and/or indirect reports with support, coaching, and encouragement necessary to achieve business goals.
- Drives increase in per unit sales and profit through implementation of our marketing and branding initiatives. Holds franchise and company teams responsible for following our core brand practices, and professional face of the brand to our clients.
- Monitor and achieves profit, quality, and customer service goals.
- Ability to identify potential business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Engages in the creation and implementation of strategies based on the opportunities identified.
- Collaborate with Sales and Logistics Departments when opening potential new accounts.
- Oversees new openings and institutional re-openings.
- Develops strong working relationships through our retail and food service partners to ensure our Company remains the preferred supplier of its products.
- May assist in franchisee recruiting efforts.
- Visits assigned units, as necessary.

Requirements
- Multi-Unit restaurant / food service experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Requires 5 years supervisory experience in multi-unit Food operations or other related management experience.
- Possesses a proven background in maintaining strong cost control and quality standards.
- Possesses knowledge and skills necessary to understand and use financial reports.
- Demonstrates the ability to drive profitable growth while improving customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrates strong leadership, personnel management, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates team management, delegation, issue resolution, coaching skills, and the ability to motivate others.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
