Operations Manager – Home Improvement & Solar

Salary: RD$95,000 per month

About the Position

Velaz Group LLC is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Home Improvement and Solar divisions. This role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, driving team performance, improving customer satisfaction, and coordinating projects from sale through installation.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience managing operations in the home improvement, construction, roofing, solar, or call center industries. This individual will work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Production, and Installation teams to ensure operational excellence and company growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Home Improvement and Solar departments.
• Monitor operational KPIs and implement strategies to improve performance.
• Manage project workflows from contract signing through installation.
• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Production, Permitting, and Installation teams.
• Develop and improve operational processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Lead, coach, and motivate supervisors and team members.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within company standards.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve escalated issues.
• Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports for senior management.
• Identify opportunities to increase productivity, profitability, and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 3 years of Operations Management experience
• Experience in Home Improvement, Roofing, Solar, Construction, or a related industry
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing KPIs and operational reporting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Experience managing multiple departments.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
