Responsibilities:

• Organize and coordinate daily production operations

• Ensure smooth and efficient production processes

• Prioritize and coordinate ongoing production orders in collaboration with the Planning department

• Manage and monitor daily workforce allocation and staffing

• Provide hands-on support in resolving operational challenges and production bottlenecks

• Provide technical and functional leadership to production and maintenance employees

• Support employee performance and development discussions

• Identify and implement process improvements

• Work closely with the Maintenance and Planning departments

• Ensure compliance with all GMP, hygiene, and quality requirements

• Support HACCP, Food Safety, and quality management programs

• Ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations

• Support internal and external audits

• Facilitate communication between Production, Maintenance, and Planning

Qualifications:

• Completed technical or food technology qualification (or equivalent vocational training)

• At least 3 years of leadership experience in a shift-based production environment preferred

• Further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister), Technician, or a comparable certification is an advantage

• Several years of experience in production or operations

• Experience in the food, pharmaceutical, or process manufacturing industry preferred

• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and Food Safety standards

• Experience working with ERP systems

• Strong hands-on mentality with a practical, solution-oriented approach

• Ability to work independently in a structured and organized manner

• Strong assertiveness, sound decision-making skills, and the ability to drive results
