Operations Manager (Engineering) – Johannesburg – Salary R25,000

About the Company

A boutique engineering consulting firm specialising in Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Management (EPCM) across water, wastewater, energy and general engineering sectors is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their Johannesburg team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and high performance
• Oversee implementation and optimisation of operational processes and SOPs
• Manage cross-functional teams and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Track and report on KPIs, operational risks, and performance metrics
• Coordinate workflows, resource allocation, and operational planning

Minimum Requirements

• 3–5 years experience in operations management or similar role
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
• Experience in process improvement and operational excellence
• Ability to manage people, projects, and performance metrics
• Proficient in reporting, planning and administrative tasks
• Valid drivers licence advantageous

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Operations Management, Business, Engineering or related field (preferred)
