This role ensures the safe, efficient, and profitable execution of services while maintaining high standards in customer satisfaction, team performance, and operational excellence. The Operations Manager is accountable for all aspects of safety, productivity, equipment, personnel, and overall branch performance.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Performance Management
Lead and motivate the team to achieve sales revenue goals while maintaining cost control
Set clear expectations for performance, behavior, and productivity
Evaluate employee performance to ensure quality workmanship standards are met
Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment
Ensure high levels of employee morale and engagement
Staffing & Training
Hire, onboard, and train new employees
Provide ongoing training and development for supervisors and assistant managers
Ensure all team members understand company expectations and standards
Operations Management
Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Monitor production output and job progress across all projects
Supervise field operations including window cleaning, pressure washing, and waterproofing services
Conduct site visits to ensure quality and compliance
Customer Service & Communication
Maintain a strong record of customer satisfaction
Communicate with clients regarding scheduling, logistics, and job progress
Collaborate with internal departments to align job scope and customer expectations
Planning & Scheduling
Develop detailed weekly work plans and schedules
Assign jobs, crews, equipment, and resources effectively
Coordinate scheduling with customers, including confirmations and updates
Identify and resolve planning or scheduling inefficiencies
Forecast production needs and ensure targets are met
Manage and coordinate equipment usage, including lifts and machinery
Safety & Compliance
Ensure the safety and welfare of all employees
Enforce safety policies and procedures across all job sites
Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions
Quality Control & Administration
Maintain high standards for quality control and attention to detail
Monitor and report on workforce productivity, job progress, and revenue
Recommend personnel actions including promotions and transfers
Ensure all work meets or exceeds company and customer expectations
QualificationsQualifications
Proven experience in operations management or a similar leadership role
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Experience in service-based industries (preferred)
