Worker’s Justice Project (WJP) (workersjustice.org) was founded in 2010 to address the racial and economic injustices that low-wage immigrant workers face in New York City by building collective power to win institutional change. WJP runs two long-standing worker’s centers in Brooklyn (456 Grand Street and 613 4th Avenue) and a Deliverista Hub near City Hall in Manhattan. We promote justice and opportunity for low-wage immigrant workers in New York City by pushing for systematic enforcement and expansion of workplace protections, which include labor and occupational health and safety standards while advocating for industry-specific efforts to improve working conditions. WJP also offers skills-building training to workers in health & safety and industry-specific areas, and we educate immigrant communities about their rights in the workplace and how to exercise those rights.
WJP is a fiscally sponsored project of TSNE (tsne.org).
The Operations Manager is a hands-on, 100% on-site role responsible for office administration, facility maintenance, technology coordination, vendor relationships, and day-to-day operational support for WJP’s two Brooklyn-based worker centers and Deliverista Hub network. This role oversees the smooth management and coordination of all organizational systems across divisions, and with operations-related vendors, and consultants.

At Third Sector New England, Inc. (TSNE) we know that change is possible and that change can be activated within people and communities. We’re a capacity building organization that partners with nonprofit organizations to provide the services, programs, and resources they need to support their communities and, ultimately, create a more equitable society.
We work with organizations to face barriers, like access to resources and capacity, by ensuring they have the support they need; financial, human, and more, to operationalize their work. We are committed to doing this work with equity at the forefront, and a deep understanding of the systemic inequities that pose barriers to impact, especially for organizations that work with historically marginalized communities.
TSNE exists to serve and partner WITH organizations and we do so by offering robust research about the state of the nonprofit sector, providing financial, administrative, and operational support, and building spaces, like the Nonprofit Center, and The Link, where nonprofit organizations can convene and strategize towards the future.
