Operations Manager - Feed & Biofuel

ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Operations Manager to lead our Windsor, Ontario manufacturing facility.

This is a key site leadership role responsible for safety, operational performance, workforce development, continuous improvement, and long-term business success. The successful candidate will lead by example, foster a culture of accountability and collaboration, and help drive operational excellence while living the principles of the #1ANDRITZway.

As part of a global leader in Feed & Biofuel solutions, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while developing high-performing teams and supporting sustainable growth.

What You'll Do

• Lead all manufacturing and operational activities for the Windsor facility.
• Champion a culture of safety by actively promoting the ANDRITZ 8 Life-Saving Rules.
• Drive environmental stewardship, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and develop department leaders, shift supervisors, and manufacturing teams.
• Develop and execute operational strategies that improve profitability, productivity, and competitiveness.
• Manage facility budgets, capital investments, and business improvement initiatives.
• Ensure production goals, quality standards, and customer commitments are consistently achieved.
• Drive operational excellence through process, equipment, and quality improvements.
• Strengthen workforce capabilities through coaching, development, and succession planning.
• Foster a collaborative culture built on accountability, ownership, and continuous learning.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing operations, plant management, or general management.
• Feed & Biofuel industry experience preferred.
• Experience leading teams within a matrix organization.
• Strong business and financial acumen, including:
• Profit & Loss management
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Balance sheet and cash flow management
• Proven success driving operational improvements and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
• Authorized to work in Canada.
